Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo
Cost: ?
Gift registry item: No
Available: ?
Pro: Addison was able to use it a little earlier than the exersaucer, as it sits a little lower. It has lights and sounds, as well as a few little toys and a feeding tray. It's easy to put together and adjust the height as needed.
Con: It's really big and the noises can get a little annoying
First Years MiPump Electric Breast Pump
Cost: $65
Gift registry item: Yes
Available: BRU, Sears, Walmart
Pro: I bought this days before I gave birth and used it right away to help with engorgement. For a few months I used it every day to pump and store some milk for bottles. It's easy to use and works well. It's cheap.
Con: It's a little loud. It's deceiving to read that it has 8 different speeds, as I've never used anything besides the top one.
Fisher Price Seahorse
Cost: $20?
Gift registry item:Yes
Available: BRU, Walmart
Pro: Plays nice music
Con: Addison was a little indifferent to both. She caught on to this one a bit more than the Sleep Sheep, but definitely didn't "need" it. It neither helped nor hindered her sleep.
Gagou Tagou socks
Cost: ?
Gift registry item: No
Available: BRU
Pro: These and ON are the only ones that will stay on Addison's feet
Con: Ugly patterns
Gagou Tagou clothes
Cost: Expensive, but they go on sale often, for a great price
Gift registry item: No (I didn't register for any clothes)
Available: BRU
Pro: Adorable, good sales
Con: Expensive at full price, and they fit really small. Addison is just getting into her 12 month clothes right now (nearly 17 mos). She still has a few 6-9 pieces that she wears regularly. I got a 24 month GT bubble and outfit recently hoping she'd wear them in the Summer, and it all fits now.

Jolly Jumper The Baby Sitter
Cost: $29.99
Gift registry item: Yes
Available: BRU
Pro: Comfortable, easy to clean, handy to have while nursing, nice and firm to use as a regular pillow while holding the baby
Con: Addison was too small to use this right away. I'd wrap it around me and lay Addison on her side to nurse, and she'd fall. I wish I could have used it from day one, even in the hospital. She preferred one side over the other and it was hard/time-consuming getting the pillow in the right position for a "football" hold, which is the only way I could get her to eat on one side. The Baby Sitter would have been perfect for this position, had Addison been able to fit in it properly.
Maman Kangourou Stretchy Wrap Carrier
Cost: $69.99
Gift registry item: Yes
Available: BRU
Pro: Easy to use, cute patterns/colours, multiple wearing positions, convenient to wear baby when I'm alone with her and need to go out or have my hands free
Con: Price! There is also a lot of fabric, which is bound to swipe the floor at some point while you put it on. I haven't tried the back position yet.

Playtex Diaper Genie II Elite
Cost: $45.99 (Refills: $8.99)
Gift registry item: No
Available: BRU
Pro: It's easy to setup, remove, and replace refill bags. It's handy to have in the nursery, rather than taking the diapers to a garbage bag downstairs.
Con: It doesn't work nearly as well as one would expect. It doesn't hold back the smell as well as I had hoped. The refills are really expensive.

Pro: Cute, great fit, durable, good sales. We got Addison's sandals (2011) and winter boots (2011/2012 Winter) here and both are still in great shape.

Con: It's not the nicest looking bra, but nursing bras are never pretty
Sleep Sheep
Cost: $45.99
Gift registry item: No
Available: BRU, Walmart
Pro: Some cute, soothing noises
Con: The heart beat noise and whale sounds are not soothing.Thankfully this and the sea horse were gifts. Some people swear by white noise machines, and at this point Addison still doesn't acknowledge either one.

Hand-me-downs
We are so grateful to have received as many as we have. I can't say enough about the great hand-me-downs Addison got. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Clothes are expensive and adorable. We need to get as much wear out of them as possible!
Nail clippers
We trim her fingernails at least once a week. This was a great gift, and one that many people may not think of.
Pants with feet
You'd think I'd love these. Unfortunately when she was born her feet were to big for Newborn footed pants so she could never wear them. Now that her feet basically fit, her legs are growing by the minute. I don't like when they come as part of an outfit because she's outgrowing the (footed) pants long before the tops.
PJs with snaps
What a pain in the ass! After six months, there is no chance your baby will sit still long enough to get these on easily. Why bother? Zippers are a blessing.
Swaddling blankets
We didn't have any of our own, but borrowed two from Ryan. We didn't get any use out of them. We swaddled with receiving blankets for just one month and quit cold turkey with no problems.
